In Memory of Alice and Bob
On Sunday the 6th of February 2011 Bob committed suicide. Upon receiving his suicide letter, Alice also decided to kill herself.
Alice and Bob were very dear to me. I have known them for many years and their wisdom is valuable to all of us. I will always miss them. But at the same time I see the tragedy of their lives, so I can, more or less, understand their decision.
I have been thinking a lot about how we can avoid their tragedy from repeating. I believe their lesson is: don’t mix up humans and computers.
